On March 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. State Police responded to an address on Marissa Lane in reference to a woman who was reported as unresponsive.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim lying on the floor as people were attempting to revive her with CPR. Ambulance personnel also responded to the scene and attempted to resuscitate the victim.
Palomino was pronounced deceased at the scene and investigators processed the scene for signs of foul play.
A male subject who was at the residence was taken into custody by officers on unrelated charges. The man’s name is being withheld based on the fact that he has not been charged with anything related to the death.
Palomino’s body was taken to the Office of Medical Investigators in Albuquerque for an autopsy.
Further investigation will be based on the outcome of the autopsy report.
