Santa Fe Fire Department's 'Tough enough to Wear Pink' t-shirts available at Fire Station 1 on Murales Road for $10.

The Santa Fe Fire Department on Monday kicked off its “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” breast cancer awareness campaign.

Among other things, the department is raising money to be donated to the UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center by selling t-shirts (see pic at top of blog post). The firefighters will be donning the pink t-shirts throughout the month of October.

Anyone interested in purchasing the $10 pink breast cancer awareness shirts can go to Fire Station No. 1 at 200 Murales Road from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday throughout the month.

Breast cancer survivors can receive a free shirt.
