The criminal complaint states a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputy clocked Unser Jr. driving faster than 100mph in a 60mph zone and was pulled over in the 9300 block of Coors Boulevard around 3 a.m. Thursday.
The court document states the deputy smelled alcohol and Unser’s breath test showed he had a blood-alcohol content “above twice the legal limit.” Unser had blood shot eyes and slurred speech, according to police.
Unser Jr. was released on his own recognizance later in the morning.
