AG's investigators executing a search warrant on the state car of PRC member Jerome Block Jr. (Gadi Schwartz/KOB-TV)

The Attorney General’s Office, as many know by now, searched the state-issued SUV of PRC member Jerome Block Jr. on Thursday.

While info on what they obtained remains unknown, the AGs office is now at least acknowledging they did the search but they won’t say much more.

This from the AGO’s blog “The Rest of the AGO Story“:

Many people have been calling Attorney General King’s office in the past 24 hours concerning reports about a search of a state vehicle used by PRC Commissioner Jerome Block, Jr. I can now verify that a search was conducted by Special Agents from the Attorney General’s Office. The search is part of an AGO investigation, the results of which will be turned over to the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office. This is standard operating procedure in cases like this. Further details about the investigation can not be discussed at this time.

Nice of them to verify the search that was shown on TV last night. I’ll update when I can on what the DA’s office has to say and certainly let you know what ever the New Mexican finds in the search warrant affidavit once it is made public.

Here are two stories from yesterday with Gadi’s KOB story also available below:
