KRQE-TV in Albuquerque reported Saturday that Lawrence Jaramillo has been fired as warden of the state pen in Santa Fe.
The station reports he was fired last week. You can view their news clip from Saturday’s broadcast at the bottom of this blog post.
Jaramillo came under fire recently when several female co-workers made allegations of sexual harassment, allegations that landed Jaramillo on paid leave before being fired.
As of Sunday afternoon, Jaramillo was still listed as the penitentiary warden on the New Mexico Department of Correction’s website.
