According to online jail records out of Albuquerque, the daughter of ex-Santa Fe County Sheriff Greg Solano (who, by the way, will be in a Santa Fe court Thursday for a possible plea agreement for his embezzlement and fraud charges) is now in jail herself.

The Metro Court website and jail website that listed Sylvia Solano as being booked at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday only indicate the 18-year-old was arrested on a felony warrant. According to KRQE News, however, a criminal complaint for her arrest indicates police think she and her boyfriend were using counterfeit $20s in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.

Here is KRQE’s clip from Tuesday before her arrest:

This is very sad for the her and her family.
I certainly hope that at such a young age, she gets the opportunity to not have this crime hamper the rest of her future.

This should be on the front page of the santa fe new mexican not buried back here.

  3. […] Solano was arrested in Rio Rancho in early March and charged with passing fraudulent $20 […]

That is serious charges…. she knew they were fake, its amazing how twisted NM is… Malcolm Martinez get 36 years, when others get a slap on the hand! So SICKNING! Kinda bizzar how Solano could come up with almost 13,000 to pay back in restitution, where Malcolm Martinz was living in a trailer, pay-check to pay-check…. assigned a public defender who has taken 6+ years to file an appeal…. we aren’t wealthy $$$$ wise, but are rich with the love and respect we have in our family !!!!!!!!!
