A story published in Wednesday’s Santa Fe New Mexican details allegations of aggravated indecent exposure of 21-year-old David Lailes. Police say he exposed himself to a woman and her 11-year-old son at a Cerrillos Road ATM on Sunday night.

He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County jail and clicking through his past arrest records was hard to believe. Sunday’s arrest led to the 24th time Lailes was booked into the Santa Fe County jail since his 18th birthday. That’s a booking into jail every 1.8 months. (SEE BREAKDOWN OF HIS ARRESTS BELOW)

He has spent no less than 210 days incarcerated in about three and a half years as an adult. The charges range from burglary to minor in possession of alcohol to battery to Sunday’s indecent exposure charge. Many are 1-3 day jail stints related to failed drug tests while on probation.

It is absolutely worth noting that these are bookings, NOT a record of convictions, but a record merely of arrests and bookings into jail.

Well, Makes you wonder how this low life individual is still out on Santa Fe’s streets! Embarrassing for N.M’s court systems. Fingers crossed that he stays locked up for a long time.
