I’m still out of the office this week for the holidays so just a quick copy and paste here from an e-mailed press release I received this morning from Santa Fe police:
On October 10, 2010, a 25 year old female was placing her child in a car seat when her purse was taken from the passenger seat of her vehicle. She attempted to recover her purse by reaching into the suspects vehicle. The suspect in turn grabbed her arm and proceeded to drag her through parking lot of the Walmart located at 3251 Cerrillos Road. She was dragged until she struck the metal car return which caused her to be freed from the grip of the assailant.
Santa Fe Police detectives arrested two men in connection with this crime.
- Marcus Griffin, 24
- Kyle Clark, 25
- Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon
- Aggravated burglary
- Unlawful taking of a credit card
- Fraudulent use of a credit card
- Conspiracy to commit a felony to wit: burglary
- False Imprisionment
Online jail records show each man is being held in liue of a $75,000 bond.
