Police are looking for a missing child out of the Española area.
Brandon Gonzales, 10, was possibly taken by his biological mother who police say does not have custody of the boy.

ESPAÑOLA — Española Police Department responded to Calle Quintana Sunday evening (11 p.m.) for a missing person report. Española PD reported that Nicky Espinoza-Gonzales possibly abducted a 10-year-old boy from Española. Nicky is described as a 5-foot-3-inch tall, 120-pound, 31-year-old Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes. Nicky has a tattoo on her left shoulder of a rose and a tattoo on her right shoulder of a cross.
Missing is a 10-year-old boy, Brandon Gonzales. He is described as a 4-foot tall, 80-pound Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. Brandon was last seen wearing shorts, T-shirt and shoes. The reporting party does not recall the color of the clothing. Nicky and Brandon are possibly in the Ojo Caliente area of Rio Arriba County.
Nicky Espinoza-Gonzales is the biological mother who was just released from jail on drug charges. Nicky lost custodial rights by court order. Brandon Gonzales was last seen in Española at noon Sunday. Anyone with information should immediately contact the Española Police Department at 505-747-6000.
