The Los Carnales/La Familia motorcycle club, a club mostly comprised of motorcycle-riding law enforcement officers,  is hosting a poker run fundraiser Saturday to benefit Homes for Heroes.

Registration for the ride is $25 and the run starts at 9 a.m. at Santa Fe Harley-Davidson, 4360 Rodeo Road.

According to Solomon Romero, a Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputy and president of the Northern Valley chapter of Los Carnales, the poker run will include five spots around town where riders will draw a playing card. At the end of the run, the rider with the best poker hand will win $250.

The locations of the five poker run destinations will be available at Saturday’s registration.

Homes for Heroes, according to their Website, “is a company that affiliates with Realtors, lenders and other real estate related service providers who provide substantial rebates and discounts to the heroes who serve our nation and its communities every day.”
