The City of Santa Fe Speed SUV program isn’t exactly popular, but this is a first.
Someone shot one of the SUVs Tuesday night three times while it was parked on Bishop’s Lodge Road (see photos attached to this blog post, most of them at bottom of post).
Police have no suspects, which is odd considering there are cameras sitting right there inside the vehicle. RedFlex, the out-of-state company that makes a the profit off the program in Santa Fe, and city officials have yet to review all the video of the night to see if there are images of the shooter, apparently.
Capt. Aric Wheeler says there was not major damage to the video and camera equipment inside the SUV and it is undetermined so far how much it will cost to repair the SUV.
Anyone with info on the shooting can call Santa Fe police at (505) 428-3710.
